The active phase of development is currently on hold due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. Our entire team is located in the country, and they often face issues like power outages.

Productivity, B2CSieve is a web service designed to conveniently collect and manage digital content all in one place. Whether it's links, movies, images, articles, or anything else you stumble upon while browsing, Sieve has got you covered.
This project holds a special place in my heart, as I am its founder, designer, and chief ideator. My responsibilities include:
User interface design
Formulation of product and business strategies
Researching technical implementations and available APIs
Monitoring timelines and quality of released features
Y Combinator startup accelerator application
Setting up and publishing browser extensions
Team management and process organization for a 4-person team
Task Planning and Prioritization
Investor pitch preparation and presentation
A few years ago, I realized that I was constantly facing the issue of losing notes, screenshot references, and collections from various services. Either they got lost or were scattered across different platforms, making it difficult to retrieve or share them later on.
Real-world examples
Professional Life. I often save design-related bookmarks, but there's no easy way to share an entire folder with colleagues, making collaboration inefficient.
Personal Life. I'm a TV show lover but find it hard to recall and recommend series titles when chatting with friends.
To validate my concept, I conducted seven in-depth interviews with potential users and found out that I wasn't the only one grappling with this issue.
User Insights
All of the respondents were from CIS countries and they all used the "Save Messages" feature in the Telegram app to save important content. However, this feature isn't designed for effective content management and users cannot collaborate, share their collections, or quickly search and sort content. Ultimately, all this turns into an information "dump."
Armed with valuable preliminary research data, I engaged in competitor analysis and the development of key user scenarios.
After analyzing the competitive environment and target audience, I compiled a list of key competitors and formulated hypotheses about our competitive advantages. Additionally, I calculated the Total Addressable Market (TAM) based on available data.
After a few months, I had developed scenarios for the MVP web application and browser extension.
I created an interactive prototype and began the search for a team to implement the project. Within a few weeks, I was able to assemble a four-person team consisting of two backend developers, one frontend developer, and a tester.
I decomposed tasks and developed the project roadmap.
Over the span of 8 months of part-time work, we managed to create a web application and browser extension with a unified login and data synchronization mechanism.
Main Functionalities
Registration in the app and browser extension
Feed of public collections from other users
Content search capabilities
Management of movie and bookmark collections
Collaborative collection creation
Tagging content
Movie search and addition through TMDB API
Ability to save content from others' collections
Marketing
Landing page for collecting waitlist addresses
Social media management
Pitch deck
After the launch and minor promotion on social media, we received moderate user activity. Out of 2,000 interested, 56 people became active users. In addition, 48 browser extensions were installed. The feedback we received was extremely valuable for the further development of the project.
Currently, the active development phase is frozen due to the situation in Ukraine, where our team is located. However, we continue to seek investments for full implementation of the planned features.
